Skanbo Collection nominated for FERONIA sustainability award
Our upcycled bag line, the “Skanbo Collection,” has been nominated for the FERONIA sustainability award, which was initiated by Oberbank and the state of Upper Austria in cooperation with the OÖNachrichten newspaper.
We are delighted to announce that the Skanbo Collection has been nominated for the FERONIA sustainability award—initiated by Oberbank and the province of Upper Austria in cooperation with OÖNachrichten.
With the Skanbo Collection, we are pursuing a clear idea: giving materials that have already been used a second life. Discarded banners, textiles, and other robust advertising materials are turned into high-quality, functional bags—each piece is unique. This transforms existing materials into something new that is both practical for everyday use and conserves resources.
For us, this nomination is wonderful confirmation that sustainability, design, and quality belong together. Above all, however, it motivates us to continue on this path: reusing instead of throwing away—and creating products that people enjoy using for a long time.
We would like to thank everyone who has made this project possible – and we are delighted that the Skanbo Collection is being recognized as an example of practical circular economy.

The Skanbo Collection is our upcycling line: bags and accessories made from recycled materials from the event and advertising industry. Characteristic features include visible traces of their “first life” – each bag tells its own story.
